How do I submit my CV to AngloGold Ashanti?
To upload your CV to the site please click on the Vacancies at AngloGold Ashanti link, click register at the top, create a login using your email address and a password. Once you have registered, you will be able to upload your CV as an attachment to your profile as well as see vacancies and manage past and current applications.
What makes a good application?
Please note that we will not consider incomplete, fraudulent or blank CVs. Please take time and care in submitting your CV, as this will significantly improve your chances of success.
When can I expect to get a response?
As a matter of course, we do not respond to CVs unless you have been successfully shortlisted for a position. Should you not hear back from AngloGold Ashanti within 30 days of your submission, please consider your application unsuccessful.
If you submitted your CV for general purposes, you will not receive feedback unless a suitable position arises for which we would like to put forward your CV.
What do you do with my CV?
CVs may be submitted either for a specific vacancy that has been advertising, or just for general purposes. If you apply for a specific vacancy, short-listed candidates will receive a response with 30 day of the advertised closing date. If you do not receive a response within 30 days, please consider your application unsuccessful.
Should you wish to re-submit your CV after 6 months, you are more than welcome to send in an updated and revised version.
Do you offer bursaries?
AngloGold Ashanti offers bursaries to current tertiary students registered for full-time studies. The company does focus on specific fields of study that are detailed in the application form.

Does the company offer graduate development?
Yes. This is known as the Management Trainee programme. As with our bursaries, the MT programme depends on the skills sets the company is looking for. Graduate recruits will be invited to apply for positions that require Management Trainees at our operations, where Trainees can gain maximum exposure to the operating environment. These positions are determined by skills shortages and specific departmental needs.
